AI-Powered Content
Our grammar checking, translation, and writing assistance tools use large language models and universal NLP pipelines. Each piece of content can be flagged for review within the app.
What Support Means
For each language, you can write messages with real-time grammar corrections, translate to and from your target language, get pronunciation guides, practice with conversation activities, and do AI-generated exercises personalized to your vocabulary.
Not All Languages Are Equal (Yet)
High-resource languages like Spanish, French, and German have deeper NLP coverage. Lower-resource languages work but may have rougher edges in grammar feedback. These languages will improve with use and educator feedback.

CODI and the Bigger Vision
We're part of the CODI working group, a collaborative effort to build cyberinfrastructure for under-resourced languages. The goal: make every language learnable on Day One, not just the top 10 that get commercial attention.
Open Core, Privacy-First
Our messaging platform is built on open protocols. The client is open source on GitHub and institutions can audit data flows directly. AI tools are developed in-house and available through licensing for qualified partners. See our Privacy Policy.
